Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, making purchases, or inputting text into DIM, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Educational Use Only (Critical Medical Disclaimer)

DIM is exclusively an educational simulation tool designed to help users learn morphological description terms and professional EMR vocabulary.

• DIM does NOT provide clinical diagnosis, disease predictions, or medical treatment suggestions.
• Feedback generated by our LLM pipeline should not be interpreted as professional medical advice.
• Users are strictly forbidden from entering actual Protected Health Information (PHI) or real patient records, as DIM is not a HIPAA-compliant medical logging system.

3. Payment, Evaluations, and Refunds

All commercial transactions are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record):

• Evaluations: Evaluation packs grant a specified number of evaluation requests. Evaluations are deducted per evaluation call and are non-transferable.
• Residency Prep Pack: Unlocks all 50 clinical cases and grants 300 evaluations.
• Refund Policy: Refunds are handled in accordance with Lemon Squeezy's customer agreement. Upon refund, the corresponding evaluations will be deducted from your account balance, and premium access will be revoked.

4. Prohibited Abuse

You agree not to bypass authentication, scrape cases, script API route calls, or exceed rate limits (sliding window of 20 evaluations per minute per IP). Violators' accounts and IPs will be blacklisted permanently without refund.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE, OR THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL GUARANTEE SPECIFIC RESULTS IN PROFESSIONAL EXAMS, CLINICAL ROTATIONS, OR REAL-WORLD CLINICAL PRACTICE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DIM, BG FEATHER LAB, OR ITS OWNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, LIABILITY FOR OUTAGES, SYSTEM ERRORS, INCORRECT MORPHOLOGY FEEDBACK, CLINICAL MISINTERPRETATIONS, OR ACADEMIC AND EXAM OUTCOMES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE ACTIONABLE CLAIM.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
